Our hair will dry more quickly by rubbing it causing friction – at least that’s what we think. This type of vigorous rubbing will actually cause our hair to stretch, and potentially break, as a result. Instead, after your shower, squeeze the extra water out of your hair. Do not wring your hair dry. Squeeze down on the strands – no wringing! Then wrap a towel loosely around it to soak up the excess moisture you couldn’t squeeze out.
